Receptionist – Financial Advice Office
6-Month Maternity Leave Contract (Potential for Ongoing Role)

Opportunity is available within a successful Financial Planning practice located on the Kingston Foreshore.
Our team of Financial Planners and support staff are dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial and lifestyle goals.
A new position has been created for a Reception / Client Service Officer to support our team of 5, while one of our staff is on Maternity Leave, with genuine ongoing opportunities for high performers.

Full-time 6 month contract with opportunity for extension - Monday to Friday - 8:30 am - 5:00 pm working from our office in Kingston, ACT.

Responsibilities
Being the first point of contact for clients and maintain client relationships, via phone, in person or email.
Maintain files and CRM database records (Xplan),
Managing client appointments and staff diary.
Prepare files for meetings.
Prepare reports and letters as directed, including data entry projects
Filing (Electronic and Paper based), scanning, and preparing documents.
Stationery and supply orders.
Daily mail duties
Responsible for keeping the office tidy and presentable, with some basic cleaning tasks.
Ideally, with time and experience you will be able to complete the following tasks in Financial Planning administration:
Complete various paper forms and online forms such as new superannuation and insurance applications, switch of investments, withdrawals, deposits, beneficiary nomination forms.
Advice implementation, including preparation of all paperwork necessary to complete recommended strategies.

You will need to be reliable, highly organised, technology proficient, resourceful and proactive, and bring a strong work ethic, to support our clients and team.
You will be able to demonstrate an ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Attention to detail & accurate data entry skills.
Organisational skills will include the ability to prioritise and schedule work activities with minimum supervision, as well as showing initiative with your daily tasks.
Good interpersonal skills noting the ability to communicate with a wide range of people to ensure delivery of a high level of client service.
Excellent communication skills both; written and verbal skills.
An ability to work well independently.
Sound Microsoft Office suite skills as well as ability to learn new systems.
A positive attitude with a desire to learn.
Unfortunately, due to the nature of this position, working from home is not a feasible option. This is a great opportunity to learn and develop skills for a career within the Financial Planning Industry.
