Invercauld House is a medium-sized hospitality venue in Lismore within the Northern Rivers region of the NSW Far North Coast. Located a five-minute drive from the Lismore CBD and set in over 2 hectares of beautiful gardens, Invercauld House is operated by the Catholic Diocese of Lismore. With 29 accommodation suites and multiple conference rooms and event spaces, we pride ourselves on offering exceptional food, service and amenities. In alignment with the values of the Church, we offer discounted services to non-profit organisations.
The Administration and Guest Services Officer ensures the guest experience is exceptional from the moment our customers first make contact with Invercauld House. You will primarily staff the reception, set up conference and event spaces, manage enquiries and undertake general administration tasks. Our team members work together - supporting other areas as required - to maximise the guest experience in every area of our operations.
Salary and Hours of Work
A salary in the range of $51,000-$55,500 per annum ($25.85-$28.12 per hour), based on qualifications and previous experience. In addition, 12% superannuation, loadings and penalty rates will apply.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. Work is predominantly within regular business hours; however, this role requires participation on a roster for occasional after-hours and weekend events. As a hospitality venue, this is a 100% on-site role.
Selection Criteria
Ideally, candidates will demonstrate:
The ability to make a positive contribution to workplace culture and work within values and principles that align with the Catholic Church, such as care, community-focused and service to others.
Experience in a Guest Services or customer-facing Administration role.
Sound technology skills, ideally across platforms/booking systems.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and high levels of professionalism, including presentation, punctuality and communication.
Sound organisational skills and attention to detail.
Hold, or ability to obtain prior to commencement, RSA certification (essential).
