About Macmahon Maintenance Masters
Macmahon Maintenance Masters (MMM) provides labour support to Macmahon's surface and under-ground mining operations. The team is composed of experienced tradespeople and is suited to someone who is technically experienced, confident in their abilities and excited by the prospect of a new challenge every day!

Macmahon Maintenance Masters is seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter to join the team. Join a team where you can enjoy excellent rates and benefits, a variety of work and a manager who puts people first!

Location: The King of the Hills Surface and Underground operation is located in the Northern Gold Fields region of Western Australia. It is approximately 233 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie and 750 kilometres by air from Perth. The flight time from Perth to Leonora is approximately 1 hour.

About the role

• 2:1 roster (Nights and Days) - flying back from Day Shift
• Rates up to $76 per hour
• Permanent & casual rates available to suit you

Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

• Inspection of tyres and related components (e.g. rims) - checking for signs of damage and wear;
• Air pressure inspections;
• Measuring thread depths;
• Conducting period end checks of site fleet;
• Performing monthly stock takes within required guidelines;
• Embracing and supporting the maintenance departments planning strategy regarding work order management and defect elimination;
• Ensuring all relevant documents are submitted efficiently and accurately on time for processing;
• Ability and willingness to conduct other tasks when required.

About you:

• Australian recognised Trade Certificate in Tyre Fitter (LV, HV, Agri & OTR)
• Previous experience in a similar role on a small to medium scale mining project;
• Knowledge of and experience working on heavy mobile plant;
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team;
• Great interpersonal and communication skills;
• Demonstrating commitment to Macmahon safety culture and values; and
• Current Australian MANUAL Drivers License (Mandatory)
