About the role

Elite Survey is seeking a passionate and experienced Surveyor to join our team on the Western Harbour Tunnel M&E Works project in Rozelle, NSW. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of this major construction initiative.

What you'll be doing

• Providing surveying services to support the construction of the tunnel's mechanical and electrical infrastructure, substation and ventilation buildings and pavement works. (Our contract does not involve the actual tunneling works).
• Collecting, analysing and processing survey data using the latest surveying technologies and software
• Setting out design for the construction teams.
• 3D scanning.
• Preparing detailed survey reports, plans and other documentation to meet project requirements
• Liaising with construction teams, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure survey activities are aligned with the overall project schedule
• Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Surveying.
• Experience as a Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry on Transport for NSW projects.
• Strong working knowledge of survey equipment, techniques and software such as AutoCAD, 12D, and 12d field
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative project team
• Commitment to safe work practices and quality outcomes
