Job Title: Warehouse Worker - Warehouse Worker/Pick/packer & Forklift Operator (must hold current licence)

Summary:

Workforce Extensions | Scoresby's Clients' are seeking reliable and experienced Warehouse Workers with strong skills in warehouse operation, pick/packing, sorting goods, restocking, despatch, pallet wrapping and RF (Radio Frequency) scanning. This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products within their facility. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick/pack products safely and efficiently. Use of RF scanners to accurately pick, scan, and verify inventory and shipments. Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments and materials. Prepare orders by picking, packing, and labeling products for shipment. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse. Adhere to safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents. Assist with other general warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

For Forklift Operators - Licence & Proven experience operating forklifts. Proficient with RF & other scanning equipment and inventory systems. Ability to lift up to (approx. 20kg] and perform physical tasks. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and basic math abilities.

Work Environment:

Modern facilities with excellent work conditions, Kitchen facilities and quality indoor dining facilities. Warehouse setting with moderate noise levels. May involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Overtime may be required depending on business needs.
