About the role

Stratford Painting Contractors' are seeking a full-time Apprentice Painter to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. As an Apprentice Painter, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills under the guidance of our experienced painters, while contributing to the high-quality painting work we deliver for our clients.

What you'll be doing

Assisting our qualified painters with all aspects of painting projects, including preparation, application of paint, and cleaning up

Developing your skills in operating painting equipment and tools safely and efficiently

Gaining hands-on experience in various painting techniques and methods

Contributing to the successful completion of projects within agreed timelines and to our high standards

Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities to expand your knowledge and capabilities

What we're looking for

A strong interest and passion for the painting industry

Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately

A willingness to learn and develop your skills

Good physical fitness and the ability to stand for long periods and work at heights

A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team

Must have Licence and Own Vehicle

Must have completed year 12

Must be Self Motivated
