About the Opportunity
We are seeking motivated and capable Senior Project Planner for a Tier 1 Mining company. The role will be required to interface closely with engineering and construction, contractors. This role will be responsible for developing detailed construction schedules, planning logic, and work pack logic to ensure the successful execution execution of construction projects.

Responsibilities

Integrate engineering, procurement, and construction activities into a cohesive project schedule and work packs.

Optimise project execution logic and enhance overall efficiency.

Generate and interpret project reports to support decision-making.

Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and issues - supporting construction progress reporting

Demonstrate proficiency as a subject matter expert in Schedule Risk Analysis. Forecast schedule outcomes and determine necessary schedule contingency.

Work collaboratively with EPCM contractor’s planning and project control team.

About You

A strong focus on safety and safe work practices

Extensive experience in project planning, providing crucial support for capital project planning, governance and decision-making processes.

Extensive experience with Primavera P6 Professional, and EPCM environment

Engineering qualification or other formal qualifications in the construction planning field.
