About the role

Permanent part time opportunity to provide a high standard of oral health care to eligible patients/clients of Metro North Oral Health Services. Provide high quality general dental practitioner oral health services to the eligible population, with referral of patients to an appropriate specialist where required.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Provide mentoring, tutoring and guidance to student dentists, dentists, dental prosthetists, and dental/oral health therapists.
• Practically support the Oral Health Services Management team in their responsibility to provide an efficient oral health care service within MNOHS.
• Perform other professional/work-related duties within the expected range of responsibility and competence for the position as directed by the Principal Dentist, SDS.
• Have advanced clinical skills, competence, and experience to provide the full range of clinical procedures within the general dental scope of practice, including complicated dental extractions, and some minor oral surgical procedures.
