About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated Registered Nurse with experience in Endoscopic Nursing to join our dynamic Rapid Access Hub team at St. Vincent's Hospital on the Park. This role requires the skills of a critical thinker with advanced patient assessment and clinical skills and someone who is committed to continuous improvement.
· Ensure high standard of nursing care to patients
· Provide technical assistance during diagnostic endoscopic procedures
· Maintain timely and accurate nursing records
· Ensure effective admission and discharge processes of patients
· Liaise with patient, patient's family, medical and ancillary staff as required or requested
Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum).
Your Contribution
· Bachelor of Nursing Degree with AHPRA registration
· Previous experience in an Endoscopy Suite is essential
· Motivated and professional, with exceptional communication and time management skills
· Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, best practice and safety

About St. Vincent's on the Park
St Vincent's Hospital on the Park (SVHOP) is located in East Melbourne, a short distance from the main campus of St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM). SVHOP houses a number of departments. This includes a dedicated day surgery centre with 5 operating theatres of which 2 are dedicated to endoscopy procedures. SVHOP works in collaboration with external hospitals to provide the community with timely diagnostic and treatment procedures.
The Endoscopy unit at St. Vincent's on the Park out 350 - 400 endoscopic procedures per month utilising 2 theatres.
