About the role

At BUTE TRAYS', we are seeking an experienced Sandblaster and Powder Coater to join our team in Epsom, VIC. This full-time position is an integral part of our manufacturing processes, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality products to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Preparing Ute trays, metal components and surfaces for powder coating through sandblasting and other surface preparation techniques

Conducting powder coating applications to achieve a flawless, durable finish

Monitoring the quality of the powder coating process and making adjustments as needed to ensure consistent results

Maintaining and troubleshooting the sandblasting and powder coating equipment to ensure optimal performance

Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations to ensure a safe and compliant work environment

Collaborating with the production team to prioritize and efficiently complete projects

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience in sandblasting and powder coating processes, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting

Strong technical knowledge and understanding of surface preparation and powder coating techniques

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

Proficient in the use of sandblasting and powder coating equipment, as well as general workshop tools and machinery

Commitment to workplace health and safety and the ability to follow established procedures

Ability to work alone and in a team environment

Must have forklift License
