About the role

Hyphen Health Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate and dedicated General Practitioner to join our team. The role is fully remote, we support patients Australia-wide as Australia's largest sexual health service. This is a part-time opportunity to provide high-quality primary care to our valued patients. As a General Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive and compassionate healthcare services within our niche-focused practice.

What you'll be doing

Conducting thorough medical examinations and providing accurate diagnoses, visa referring testing.

Developing personalised treatment plans and delivering appropriate medical interventions

Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments as needed

Providing preventative care and promoting healthy lifestyles

Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care

Adhering to all relevant medical regulations and professional standards

What we're looking for

Valid medical degree and current registration as a General Practitioner

Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in a primary care setting

Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills with a strong focus on patient-centred care

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with medical advancements

Remuneration

This role is a guaranteed $1000 AUD a day, for 7 hours a day minimum. We bill patients with mixed billing. GPs receive 70% of the split of billing. We predominantly bill via sexual health item numbers, with mostly telephone appointments with an eye on the 30/20 rule. The role will be mostly telephone, however video will also be required from time to time.
