Our client is seeking a hardworking and outgoing Sonographer to join their team as they open their new practice in Charters Towers.

Charters Towers is a large rural town in North Queensland, located approx. 140km south-west of Townsville.

Applicants must work well within a team, alongside other health professionals, but also be able to confidently work independently as this will begin as a sole sonographer position.

Applicants must be competent in performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures (General, Small parts, Vascular, MSK, Pregnancy) within a private setting. Competency in specialised ultrasound procedures is welcomed but not essential, eg Nuchal Translucency, Echocardiography

You should be competent in managing your worklist efficiently and be able to accommodate urgent cases.

You may be required to supervise/train junior sonography staff.

You must hold current ASAR registration. Current CPR certificate is also preferred.

Standard Work days: Monday to Friday

Standard Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm

5 weeks leave accrued annually

Hourly rate: $55 – $60/hr (negotiable to reflect level of experience).

Assistance with relocation expenses may also be provided, including start up accommodation.
