On behalf of my clients who operate in the Australian Defence sector I am looking for an experienced Agile Coach / Practitioner who holds NV1 or above clearance.

The role is being offered as a long-term day rate contract and will be based from clients site in Canberra.

As the Agile Coach your main responsibilities will include:

Acting as the champion for Agile and Scrum principles, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Leading and mentoring teams, providing expert technical guidance to overcome complex challenges.

Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of technology delivery.

Staying up to date with the latest technology trends and contribute to internal communities of practice, promoting a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.

Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional technology teams to ensure initiatives meet business goals, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience as an Agile Coach ideally gained in a Defence / Federal Government environment.

Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban etc).

Proven track record of leading Agile transformations in mid to large-scale organisations.

Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing engineering teams.

Relevant certifications (e.g., ICP-ACC, Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe Program Consultant).

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

A proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation.

NV1 or above clearance (please note that we will not be able to consider your application if you do not have this).
