Wurli-Wurlinjang Health Service is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation delivering primary and clinical health care services to the Aboriginal people in Katherine and surrounding communities. Wurli prides itself on delivering a range of health and wellbeing services to the community in a style and manner that makes clients feel welcome and comfortable. Services include acute and general care, chronic disease, Women’s & Children health, men’s health, alcohol and other drugs, social and emotional wellbeing and client support services.
The PHC Systems Manager is responsible for management and oversite of the Client Journey and associated systems and structures to ensure the delivery of efficient, effective and culturally appropriate primary health care services to our clients. This position is accountable for risk management, accreditation/compliance and effective client care coordination through ensuring structures and systems for comprehensive health care are well designed and implemented.
Key Features of the Role:
Based in Katherine, Northern Territory
Works alongside a dedicated primary healthcare and wellbeing teams. In so doing, demonstrates respect for other allied health professional roles.
Oversight and Management of the key functional areas of Primary Health Care (PHC) in consultation with other PHC leaders
An ordinary working week of 37.5 hours; Monday to Friday.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate:
Relevant Tertiary Qualification
Demonstrated knowledge of Australian health care standards and legislative frameworks
Demonstrated experience with Electronic Health Records Systems in terms of system design and use
Previous experience with policy and procedure development in a health service
National Police Records Check and Working with Children’s Clearance
Current Northern Territory Driver’s License
