About the Role

This is a full-time position suited to someone experienced in both general carpentry and general building works. You'll be involved in a range of carpentry projects across Adelaide the office is based in Salisbury North

Key Responsibilities

General 1st and 2nd Fix Carpentry (Small to medium sized jobs)

Framing, fascia repairs, eves, pergolas, decking, skirtings, architraves & door installations and repairs of all types

Gyprock repairs and general building works

Installing post & rail and Good Neighbour fencing

Reading and interpreting job work descriptions

Completing digital JSEAs and SWMS on supplied devices

Using scheduling software (Mobile Phone Supplied)

Working as part of a small team or independently

Being able to show high quality finishes and results in all that you do

Reliable 7:30 AM starts at the office every day, full-time Monday–Friday

Essential Criteria

Relevant Carpentry Trade Qualification & White Card

Drivers Licence (Drive Manual)

Completed Apprenticeship

Proven experience in 1st & 2nd Fix Carpentry

Must be reliable and able to start each day 7:30AM Sharp

Strong communication & customer service skills

Must be able to hang doors, cut rafters, repair fascias, be able to carry out basic wall and roof framing.

Must own 1st and 2nd fix nail guns

Must be able to work effectivly as a team

Must have good communication skills

Ability to lead and take initiative on-site

Comfortable working at heights

Desirable Attributes

Iron Roofing Experience (or willingness to learn)

Maintenance or facilities background

EWP or Forklift Licence

Own basic carpentry tools preferred (we do provide a lot of other tools like jackhammers etc)

Must be from North, East or West of Adelaide

Toyota Work Ute provided
