Concord Occasional Care is an established and well respected service, providing Early Childhood Education and Care to our local community for over 30 years. We are a not for profit service and pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where children, families and educators feel valued and respected. We are located within a wonderful local community in bright and modern facility and a beautiful outdoor space. Local transport and parking is available.

We are looking for a friendly and experienced Diploma qualified educator to join us. This role is for 3 to 4 days a week 8am-4.30pm.

We are also looking for casual Cert 3 educators to work alongside our team with the opportunity for regular shifts each week.

As a Diploma/ Cert 3 Educator you will:

Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and your team.

Create and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate programs.

Contribute to a positive team culture and collaborative environment.

Suppprt children's learning and development in line the the EYLF V2.0 and the NQS.

Be an active paticipant in reflective practice and continuous improvement.

Demonstrate an ability to build supportive and inclusive relationships with children and their families.

You will be required to assist and support the development of our program to support children between the age of 6 weeks - 5 years.

Demonstrate experience and desire to work within a busy, friendly, multi age group setting.

Support the needs of each child and their learning experience and liaise with families comfortably.

Work comfortably alongside Allied Health Professionals supporting children with additional needs.

Both roles require the ability to demonstrate initiative and flexibility and carry out daily routine tasks to ensure the smooth running of the day.

Qualifications & experience

DIPLOMA- Diploma qualification approved by ACECQA

CERT 3 - Certificate 3 qualification approved by ACECQA

Current First Aid , Asthma & Anaphylaxis and CPR certification

A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance number.

Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and The National Quality Framework and National Regulations.

Child protection training.

Minimum 2 years experience in an early childhood setting.

Australian working rights or valid work visa required.
