About the Role
We are currently seeking a caring and motivated Dental Hygienist / Oral Health Therapist to join our friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a practice that values teamwork, excellence in patient care, and a positive workplace culture.
You will work closely with our clinicians to provide preventative care and education, helping patients achieve long-term oral health outcomes. We offer flexibility in work hours and scheduling to help you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling, debridement, and apply fluoride and sealants.
Take and develop dental X-rays. (A radiation licence with CBCT experience is essential)
Educate and empower patients in maintaining optimal oral hygiene.
Record detailed medical and dental histories.
Support the team with patient scheduling and records management.
Maintain high standards of infection control and sterilisation.
Ensure the treatment rooms are prepared and welcoming for every patient.
What We Are Looking For
A team player with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to patient-centred care.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships with patients and colleagues.
Proven time management and organisational skills.
Current AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist.
Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance.
Professional Indemnity Insurance and up-to-date immunisations (including Blood Borne Virus screening).
A current radiation licence; CBCT experience is essential.
