Ocean Protect is a national company with more than 21 years in becoming the industry leader in the development, delivery and maintenance of innovative efficient site-specific stormwater runoff filtration solutions. We have factories and/or precast concrete plants in Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane with a satalite branches in Adelaide and Hobart.

The work includes the:

Installing pit baskets

Installing basic plumbing, weirs and concreting

Installing fabricated sheet metal into pits

Installing Stormwater Filters

Silicone and water proofing

To be successful in this exciting position, you will have a 'can do' attitude, bring and use your own tools, be comfortable working in a Confined Space and hold the necessary certificate (or happy to be trained for one). You will also be able to read site plans and drawings.

This position will allow you to schedule the work as per your availabiltiy requiring you to work onsite around Adelaide as required. You will work closely with the regional manager and 'walks to talk'.

The Onsite Installation Contractor:

Ultimately you will be responsible for installing Ocean Protect filtration products as agreed and scheduled at various Adelaide locations.

You will:

Sub Contract your services for at least 1 day per week (varying dependent on work load).

Own your own vehicle and provide your own tools.

Have tradesman or handyman skills (very hands on)

Experience of working with concrete would be a bonus

Have an elevated level of independence

Good Problem solving skills

General level of fitness

Travel all over Adelaide required

Pride in your work

White card and confined space an advantage (will be required – but can be obtained after engagement)

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Regional Manager.

Remuneration

$80 - $100 per hour subject to experience.
