👉🏼 The need-to-know…

Rise is seeking the cream of the crop (aka the very best!) Support Workers for our South Metro community clients. The open position is permanent, part-time working shifts between Monday to Friday from 8am to 1pm, we require applicants to be able to work a minimum of 3 days per week. You will be required to travel to multiple client homes around the South metro suburbs during each shift. Travel time & kilometres between clients will be reimbursed. Suburbs will include: Byford, Armadale, Gosnells, Thornlie, Cannington, Vic Park and surrounds.

Day to day, you will follow client support plans, record/report changes, contribute to programme meetings, and assist clients with activities of their daily living whilst achieving their personalised goals. Responsibilities may also include domestic cleaning duties.

👉🏼 The need-to-have…

Here at Rise, we nurture potential, but we do need you to have a few tricks up your sleeve including the following:

Certificate III in individual support (Aged) or equivalent with demonstrated experience post-studies

First aid certificate (HLTAID009 and HLTAID010) or willingness to obtain

Comfortability with providing personal care and essential services

Ability to communicate effectively with clients

Driving licence with use of a reliable vehicle for work purposes

Appointments to this position will be subject to a national police clearance and require pre-employment medical assessment. Costs for new checks will be covered and/or reimbursed by Rise.
