About Us

Main Cable Hauling Pty Ltd is a leading telecommunications infrastructure company committed to safety, quality, and reliability. We’re expanding our cable recovery crews for a new project in Malvern and are looking for hardworking, reliable, and competent Labourers and Leading Hands to join our team.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for motivated construction workers who want steady work and career growth, and consider themselves 'construction professionals'. You will work on-site with our cable recovery crews, supporting a large-scale project with the chance to up-skill and advance within the company. This is a physically demanding role that will suit workers who enjoy keeping fit. Some of the cable we recover has a Lead jacket, making it very heavy and that work classified as 'Lead Risk Work'. We require participation in a ongoing health monitoring program to ensure worker health.

What We’re Looking For

Construction Industry experience is essential

MR or HR Truck licence with confident manual gearbox skills

Construction Induction (White) Card and a valid Driver’s Licence

Telco experience preferred but not essential

Relevant tickets such as Telstra One Card, Confined Space, Traffic Control, and Asbestos are highly regarded

Physically fit and able to meet production targets

Commitment to following strict PPE and Lead safety procedures

Clean Police Check (No Reportable Outcomes) required

Punctual, reliable, with own transport

Additional Requirements for Leading Hands

Proven leadership skills managing small teams and meeting targets

Experience running toolbox and pre-start meetings

Ability to read and interpret site plans and coordinate site assets

Strong organisation and paperwork management skills

Leads by example and maintain high safety standards
