About the Role

As a Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality nursing and/or midwifery care within a dynamic healthcare environment. This role provides the opportunity to develop from a novice practitioner to a proficient clinician, as you consolidate your knowledge, skills, and clinical judgment through continuous professional development and hands-on experience.

You will be accountable for maintaining high standards of care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting delegated tasks within your scope of practice. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to delivering patient-centred care while further developing your capabilities and advancing your clinical expertise in line with organisational policies and professional standards.

About You

You are a compassionate and dedicated nurse with strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Your ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively and manage competing priorities ensures you contribute positively to patient outcomes within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Current registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a valid practising certificate.

Strong communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Demonstrated clinical competence in your area of nursing practice, with the ability to prioritise workloads and deliver consumer-centred care.

Sound knowledge of nursing standards, relevant legislation, quality improvement systems, and the professional responsibilities of the Registered Nurse within a healthcare setting.
