Your part in Buderim Private Hospital team:
As a Buderim Private Hospital Graduate Nurse, you will be part of one of the largest private hospitals on the Sunshine Coast. With experience that’s nearly 40 years in the making, we’re driven by a desire to consistently exceed the needs and expectations of our patients, their families, and our community.
Over the course of our 12-month program, you can expect to be exposed to varied and exciting work. You will be provided the support and opportunity to consolidate your skills and learning, to deliver safe and holistic person-centred care, apply best clinical practice and ensure a safe environment for patients. Working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary team, you will apply your exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Our Graduates will be offered a 64-hour fortnight (32 hours p/week) fixed term contract.

Streams to consolidate your skills:
This intake we'll be offering opportunities to Graduate Enrolled and Registered Nurses into our General Nursing stream and Registered Nurses in our Perioperative streams.
Our 12-month program will provide you with a deep, rich learning experience, supported by experienced staff who care about your future. As a high-acuity, specialist facility, our program will allow you to focus on developing your clinical expertise in your chosen speciality.
You will have the opportunity to broaden your experience and build your skills in the following programs:
General Nursing Stream (two 6-month rotations)
· Acute Medicine
· ENT
· Gynaecology
· Plastics
· Orthopaedics
· Urology
· Vascular
· Rehabilitation
· Surgical
· Mental Health
Perioperative Stream (12 month non-rotational)
· Scrub/Scout
· Anaesthetics
· PACU
What makes a difference for us?
To be eligible to apply, you will need:
· To have completed your Bachelor or Nursing or Diploma of Nursing between December 2024 and December 2025
· To hold registration with AHPRA by 26 January 2026
· Flexibility to work a full rotating roster (in a part-time 0.8 FTE position)
· The ability to commence in the program on 2 February 2026
