Storeman - Solo Sprayers

A fantastic opportunity exists to join Solo Sprayers at our warehouse in Brendale, QLD

Solo Sprayers is a well-established family owned and operated business that provides the rural, commercial, agriculture and domestic market with top quality spraying equipment including Solo brand products and comprehensive service solutions. We are predominantly a B2B wholesale business operating Monday to Friday only.

About the role

We are looking for a fulltime warehouse storeman to join our close-knit team. Due to our small team environment, this role requires flexibility and multi-skilling abilities, including hands-on manual work with sprayers and equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

Receiving, inspecting, labelling and stocking goods

Maintaining cleanliness and safe work practices in the warehouse

Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders in a timely and accurate manner

Maintaining security in the stores area

Monitoring condition of product packaging and reporting problems

Updating and controlling freight companies dispatch systems

Container unloading as required

Manual assembly and repair work on sprayers and equipment

Supporting workshop operations when required

What we are looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic person with great work ethics to be part of our small, dynamic team. As part of a smaller operation, you'll need to be adaptable and willing to take on varied tasks beyond traditional storeman duties.

Essential requirements:

Must live on the northside of Brisbane

Physically fit with excellent hands-on approach

Willingness to work on sprayers and equipment - mechanical aptitude preferred

Ability to multi-skill across different areas of the business

Excellent attention to detail and outstanding commitment to Workplace Health and Safety

Current forklift license

Excellent communication skills and good understanding of warehouse practices

Computer literacy (training provided on specific programs)

Team player attitude essential for small team environment

Desirable:

Previous experience with agricultural or spraying equipment

Basic mechanical skills

Experience in a small business environment
