About the Role:

TRS Resourcing seeks a skilled Machine Operator to join our client's dynamic team in Melbourne. This role involves operating state-of-the-art CNC beamline and bandsaw machinery to cut and shape metal components to precise specifications. The position is casual for the first 26 weeks, with the potential to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC beamline and bandsaw machines to accurately cut and shape metal materials.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine machine settings and material requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating CNC beamline and bandsaw machinery in a metal fabrication environment.
• Strong understanding of metalworking principles and the ability to read technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical fitness and handling heavy materials, and standing for extended periods.
