About the role

Partner in care disability services is looking for a passionate and caring Personal Care Worker to join our team in Townsville, QLD. In this casual role, you will provide high-quality support and assistance to clients with a range of day-to-day activities, helping them to live independently and with dignity.

What you'll be doing

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting

Help with light domestic duties like meal preparation, cleaning and laundry

Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging them in activities and outings

Observe and report any changes in a client's condition or needs

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures and safety guidelines

What we're looking for

A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent

Experienced in high intensity care i.e peg feeds

Experience in providing personal care and support services to people with a disability

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approach

Ability to work independently as well as as part of a team

A current First Aid and CPR certificate ( compulsory)

NDIS worker screening card ( compulsory)

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including active nights, sleepover s, weekends and public holidays
