About the role

We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver/Yard Hand to join our team at Arcadia Wholesale Nursery. This is a casual position, based at our nursery in Greenacre, NSW. As a Delivery Driver/Yard Hand, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient and timely delivery services to our customers, as well as assisting with various tasks in our nursery yard. (If just wanting a driver job this role could suit semi-retired. Deliver, unload returned trolleys and finish)

What you'll be doing

Safely operating our purpose-built truck to transport nursery stock to customer locations. We use a trolley and tail lift system which requires minimal lifting

Assisting with the loading and unloading of stock

Maintaining the cleanliness and proper functioning of the delivery vehicle

Helping with the organisation and upkeep of the nursery yard, general maintenance so handy man skills an advantage

Providing excellent customer service and liaising with customers to ensure their needs are met

What we're looking for

A current, clean driver's licence with no restrictions (LR minimum)

Experience in a similar delivery role, preferably within the horticultural or landscaping industry

Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks

Familiarity with nursery stock an advantage but not essential
