About the role

We are seeking an experienced Local HC Truck Driver / Moffet forklift driver to join our team at JBH Haulage Pty Ltd in Darra/ Lockyer Valley Queensland. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods using both your truck driving and moffet forklift operating skills. You will be paid from when you leave home and return home if there is room to park the truck at home or near home.

What you'll be doing

Operate heavy combination (HC) vehicles to transport goods to and from various locations (100km radius from Darra)

Use a Moffett forklift to load and unload goods from the truck

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety

5am start at pick up location

Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation

Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies

Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients as required

What we're looking for

Current Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

Forklift licence (Moffett or similar experience)

Minimum 2 years' experience as an HC truck driver

Must be able to drive and reverse in tight situations

Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road transport regulations

Must have road ranger experience

Willing to do 10 - 12 hour shifts

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual and committed to workplace safety
