STATUS:
COORDINATOR: Full-time - permanent after 3-month probation
TEAM MEMBER: Casual 20+ hours per week

We are searching for team members who are flexible in working hours as we are open from 6.30–9:00am and 3.00-6.00pm as well as school holidays.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking to appoint an OSHC Coordinator to lead our OSHC Centre with an immediate start as well as casual Team Members.
Bucasia OSHC is licensed service providing BEFORE, AFTER & VACATION care up to 44 school age children. This service is an integral part of the school & community.

You will join a supportive environment and will have the opportunity to implement your own ideas and make the service your own, with the support from your Operations Manager and Executive P&C Committee. Continuous professional growth will be offered, and you will pass on this support and mentorship to your dedicated team of staff who have great relations with all families and children.

REMUNERATION: Based on qualifications and experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with the set up and pack down of daily activities

Basic food preparation

Supervise children to ensure a safe and inclusive environment

Support the implementation of fun, engaging and age-appropriate programs

Build positive relationships with children, families and staff

Comply with all health, safety, and child protection regulations

About You

Enthusiastic and motivated to work with children

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team

Punctual, dependable and organised

Experience working with children is a bonus but not essential

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Coordinator: Diploma Early Childhood Education & Care

Team Member: Are enrolled in or hold an approved OSHC qualification Eg. Cert. 3 Early Childhood Education & Care, Teachers Aid or Studying Bach Education

Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willing to obtain

Availability for morning and/or afternoon shifts

Current First Aid qualifications

Previous experience regarded but not necessary.
