We are looking to hire a casual or who has previous experience in laundry and housekeeping and can work a variety of shifts.
As a Support Service Employee your duties will include but not be limited to:
Assist with full range of domestic duties
Clean picture frames, wall ornaments and sanitise all towel dispensers, light and air-conditioning switches
Be responsible for the general cleanliness of the kitchen, including all appliances, storage areas, work benches and floors
Prepare clothing, garments and linen for washing and drying and perform those duties using safe handling of laundry chemicals
Make beds, change linen, turn mattress where necessary
Wet dust all picture frames and wall ornaments
Wet wipe and sanitise all towel dispensers, light and air-conditioning switches
Wipe over all lights in front foyer, lounge, activities room, and at the entrance.
Clean exhaust hoods in the kitchen
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role
Genuine compassion, commitment and enthusiasm
Ability to work well in a team
Empathy towards the elderly and respectful of their needs
Flexibility to work on rotating shifts morning & afternoon Mon-Sun
Able to provide evidence of COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
