Commercial Fitout Carpenter

Job Overview
As a Commercial Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing interior fit-out and commercial refurbishment works. This includes plasterboard partitions, aluminium frames, doors and hardware, ceilings and bulkheads and other associated works.

Qualifications & experience

Minimum 5 years proven experience in commercial carpentry, particularly office fitouts and building refurbishment works.

Valid White Card/Construction Induction Card

Must possess own reliable tools, a current drivers licence and have access to a vehicle to carry personal tools.

Physical stamina and the ability to perform demanding tasks and work at heights.

Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia

Strong experience with both carpentry and finishing work.

Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

Excellent problem-solving skills, especially with respect to on-site challenges.

Knowledge of building techniques, codes and safety standards.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Excellent Remuneration at above award rates

Rostered Days Off for workers who opt for this (RDO). Rate is based on a 38 hour paid working week (40 on-site) and includes a paid monthly RDO.

High end work
