As we continue to grow, we are looking for Fulltime Forklift Drivers to join our team on the PM shift.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and in accordance with policies and procedures.

Ensure all inbound and/or outbound freight is:

Accurately scanned, matched, sorted, and placed safely into correct locations.

Load outbound linehaul units (consolidation of freight)

Unloaded and/or loaded safely with zero damage within set time limits.

Compliant with legislative requirements with regard to load mass.

Compliant with Chain of Responsibility including appropriate load restraint.

Match freight and connotes no miss-sorted or miss-loaded freight.

Ensure all inbound units are completely cleaned and all pallets, load restraint equipment, and dunnage are recorded, removed, and placed in the appropriate locations.

Report all incidents of damage, shortages, split consignments, etc. to the supervisor in a timely manner.

Ensure the yard is kept organised and tidy.

Work toward a target of zero near-miss incidents or accidents.

Contribute to shared goals and work effectively as part of a team.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:

LF Forklift License

Strong safety awareness and adherence to OHS regulations.

Minimum 2 years' experience in Linehaul Loading Operations

Successfully demonstrate understanding of Mass Management

Successfully demonstrate understanding of Load Restraint Guidelines

A proactive, team-oriented attitude.
