Workfast is seeking Heavy Diesel Fitters to work on a 7/7 Roster FIFO from Perth to Plutonic Belt Site, WA.

This is a great opportunity to work on a mix of underground and surface mining equipment, including Sandvik, CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu, and Volvo gear. This is a temp-to-perm role with ongoing work on a balanced 7 on / 7 off roster.

• Days - $80.00 Per Hour, Flat Rate
• Nights - $85.00 Per Hour, Flate Rate
• ROSTER: 7 On, 7 Off

What you need:

• AUSTRALIAN RECOGNISED Heavy Diesel Trade Qualification
• Australian Driver's Licence
• Proven experience working on Sandvik underground mining equipment
• Experience maintaining and repairing CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, and Volvo surface gear
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• National Police Clearance (Within 12 months)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• High regard for safety protocols and procedures

What you will be doing:

• Performing maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Sandvik underground equipment
• Working on a range of surface mining gear including CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu, and Volvo
• Carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks as per site schedules
• Using diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot mechanical faults
• Completing service documentation and adhering to safety and compliance processes
• Working as part of a supportive and high-performing maintenance team
