Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) are looking for motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapists who is ready for a new adventure. As an Occupational Therapist you will be a part of the Occupational Therapy Team based at our state-of-the-art Wagga Wagga Base Hospital and be supported by a team of fabulous Occupational Therapists and allied health assistants within the department.

About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapists to join our casual pool of staff to provide a comprehensive Occupational Therapy service to our community.
Occupational Therapy services are provided with a focus on occupational and client-focused outcomes within a multidisciplinary team context.
As the Occupational Therapist you will be responsible for delivering timely, efficient and evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to inpatients at Wagga Wagga Base Hospital (WWBH).
Additionally, the role involves a range of clinical and administrative functions necessary for the delivery of occupational therapy services to patients.
The clinical caseload includes inpatients in acute and subacute wards. This position will rotate through the different wards within Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and hold current registration with AHPRA
- Knowledge, skills, clinical experience and ability in Occupational Therapy practice to provide patient-centred, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services across a range of clinical areas
- The ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- High level of communication skills and organisation skills
