About the role

St. Michael's Golf Club in Little Bay, NSW is seeking two qualified Greenskeepers or a 4th year Apprentices to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time position and will play a crucial role in maintaining the outstanding quality and presentation of our course for our members and visitors.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain turf maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools

Perform turf care duties including mowing, edging, fertilising, and aerating greens, fairways, and other course areas

Assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems

Monitor and adjust course conditions to ensure optimal playing surfaces

Identify and treat turf diseases, pests, and other issues

Participate in the planning and implementation of course projects and enhancements

Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Qualified Greenskeeper or 4th year Apprentice with experience in golf course maintenance

Strong knowledge of turf management practices, particular in either area including irrigation, or fertilization, and pest control

Proficient in the use of various landscaping equipment and tools

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining a safe work environment
