Here at our Ferntree Gully head office depot we are looking to welcome a positive, energetic team member to our fun and welcoming afternoon Operations Team.

• Longer shifts will be considered for those who prove commitment and reliability
• You have a strong understanding of correct food handling procedures with a 'Safety First' approach always, the ability to learn quickly and work independently, while being a dedicated team player.

Establish work-life balance with these great hours from 1.00pm - 7.30pm - get things done before work, head to the gym or just enjoy the morning!

• Shift length 3-6 hours
• 3-5 shifts per week
• Sunday to Thursday roster
• Shifts rostered within the hours of 1.00pm – 7.30pm
• 9-30 hours per week – Flexibility and reliability to take on more is highly regarded
• Must be AVAILABLE to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week and to work a straight 10 shift induction period over your first 2-3 weeks

Please note -

• Due to the variety and volumes of our products, candidates should be aware that working with certain food products, e.g. meats, dairy or gluten-based items is a requirement of this role
• Payrate listed is for an adult 21+ years old and will be less for younger applicants

• Warehouse work
• General food production
• Pick packing
• Machine operation
• House keeping and cleaning

The role requirements…

To be successful in the role, you can offer the following;

• Competently (and without assistance) lift 15 - 25kg frequently
• Work in a cool room environment (below 5 degrees)
• A strong ‘can do’ attitude and team player mindset
• The ability to work under pressure, and unsupervised
• Physically capable of bending, lifting, twisting, stretching and reaching forward frequently
• Numerical skills
• Perform repetitive work while adhering to quality and safety standards
• Using equipment and tools, as well as operating machinery for preparation and processing (able to operate or exposure to packing machinery an advantage)
• Maintaining and cleaning equipment and facilities
• Reliable and available to work a minimum 3-5 shifts per week between the hours of 2pm - 7pm
• Great communication
