Role Responsibilities:

Agile Release Train Leadership

Run Product Increment (PI) Planning sessions, ART syncs, retrospectives, and system demos

Drive continuous delivery by managing risks, dependencies, and delivery impediments across teams

Monitor and improve ART metrics

Regulatory & Risk Alignment

Embed risk and governance practices into Agile ceremonies and processes

Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, and Internal Audit to ensure traceability and control of delivery outcomes

Stakeholder & Program Management

Coaching & Agile Maturity

Requirements:

Proven experience managing large, complex programs in banking or financial services in Australia

Strong understanding of financial systems (e.g. core banking, payments, lending, risk & compliance platforms)

SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Agile delivery roles, including at least 2 years as an RTE, Agile Program Manager or equivalent

Strong understanding of Agile metrics, reporting, and executive-level transparency needs

Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes in a matrixed or federated delivery environment

Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities. Experience working with cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with business goals
