HenderCare is currently seeking casual Personal Care Workers to attend several homecare services throughout Melbourne's Western and Northern Suburbs. Short 2-hour cover shifts, driving to and from 2-3 clients daily, 2-3 days per week. Services are spread throughout Mernda, Epping, South Morang, Sydenham, Glenroy, Keilor, Gowanbrae, and Surrounding Suburbs.

About the role:

As a casual Personal Care Worker, you will aim to maximise the service recipients' independence by addressing their needs and building positive home environments and relationships with families and the community. The ideal candidate will excel in handling multiple short shifts, able to drive and attend multiple clients in Melbourne, ensuring consistent opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the lives we support.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Domestic Assistance (e.g. cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, laundry, making the bed, etc.)

Personal Care (e.g. bathing, showering, toileting, dressing, medication management, manual handling bed transfers, etc.)

Community Access (e.g. supporting service recipients in accessing appointments or recreational activities)

Our ideal candidate:

Can work casually (able to work short home care shifts)

Greek-speaking (desirable)

Previous experience providing personal care, community access, and domestic assistance

Must be comfortable driving to suburbs in the description above

Have the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations

Have strong communication and documentation skills
