Our client is seeking skilled Maintenance Fitters and Electricians to join their growing maintenance team! You will play a key role in ensuring the reliable operation of plant equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Available Position:
Maintenance Electricians - Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm OR 4x on 4x off rotating day/night roster
Maintenance Fitters - Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm

About the role:

• Carrying out Preventative Maintenance programs for the processing, packaging, cooling & heating systems to ensure efficient services to site;
• Responding to breakdowns in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Performing scheduled and ad-hoc safety checks as per instructions;
• Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems/processes.
• General maintenance within a factory environment, filling machines, packaging equipment, boilers and refrigeration systems; and
• Participating in continuous improvement activities
• PLC knowledge (Electrician role only)
• Experience in an FMCG packaging environment preferred;
• Continuous improvement mindset;
• Strong troubleshooting skills;

Must haves:

• Trade certificate as a Mechanical Fitter /A Grade Electrician
• Experience troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Knowledge of GMP within the FMCG field
• Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office desirable
