About the role

We are seeking an experienced Radiographer to join our dynamic team at Westside Radiology in Broken Hill, NSW. As a Radiographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a modern, state-of-the-art facility and be part of a collaborative and supportive healthcare environment.

What you'll be doing

Performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, CT scans, and MRI scans

Ensuring the safe and appropriate use of radiation equipment and adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols

Providing exceptional patient care by guiding patients through their imaging procedures and addressing any concerns or questions they may have

Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely reporting of imaging results

Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records and documentation

Participating in ongoing professional development and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques

What we're looking for

A degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent qualification

Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Radiographer

Substantial experience working as a Radiographer, in a diagnostic imaging clinic setting

Strong technical skills and knowledge of various imaging modalities (xray/ CT), including MRI if possible.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals

A commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a keen attention to detail

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting

Combined CT and Radiography is an advantage and attracts a bonus.
