Who we are:

Pennine Community Supports is a family run service providing care and assistance within the community. We support a range of activities so our clients can continue to live independently in their homes and be active members within their community. Our clients are based throughout Sydney including Inner West, Bankstown, Penrith, Canterbury and Panania.

Not only will you support their day-to-day activities (taking them to medical appointments, shopping, the park, lunch, see friends etc.) you will be pivotal in ensuring they are living their life to maximum potential. These roles are critical to our client’s overall wellbeing including mental health and physical health. You will be part of something special; it's not every day you can say you made someone's day.

We are growing and looking for support workers who have recent experience in a one on one support role within the community. You are compassionate, motivated and caring, flexible, adaptable and able to think on your feet. You will have recent experience with and an understanding of how to work with people who present with challenging behaviours.

You will have your NDIS Worker Screening Check, a Certificate III or IV in Disability or Individual Support, an unrestricted NSW drivers license and access to a car. The clients we are recruiting for have requested to work with female workers only and we are supporting their choice and control in who they work with.

Ideally you will have availability for at least 3 days per week, with the capacity to increase the hours as you become familiar with our clients. We are looking for someone who is keen to have one employer, once we find your perfect mix of hours and clients.
