Job Description: HR Hook lift Driver

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious HR Hooklift Driver to join our family-owned scrap metal recycling team. You'll be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of scrap metal containers using our hooklift truck, serving commercial and industrial clients across Brisbane, Beenleigh, Ipswich, Logan, and Wacol.

Key Responsibilities: • Operate HR hooklift truck safely and efficiently for scrap metal container pickup and delivery • Service commercial and industrial clients with professional, timely collection services • Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance • Secure and transport various scrap metals including steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminium, and brass • Maintain accurate delivery records and customer interaction logs • Follow all environmental standards and safety protocols during metal waste removal • Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding scheduling and service requirements • Assist with container placement and positioning at client sites • Ensure compliance with all transportation and recycling regulations

Requirements: • Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) truck license with clean driving record • Minimum 2 years experience operating hooklift/skip loader trucks • Strong understanding of workplace safety protocols • Physical fitness for manual handling and outdoor work • Excellent communication and customer service skills • Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude • Knowledge of scrap metal types and recycling processes (preferred) • Forklift license (advantageous)
