About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join a team on a locum contract within a well-established hospital based in Melbourne's CBD. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work across acute inpatient and rehabilitation settings, providing comprehensive assessment and intervention to a diverse patient population.

You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and promote independence, ensuring high standards of care are maintained. This position is ideal for a therapist with strong clinical reasoning skills, adaptability, and a passion for delivering patient-centred outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide evidence based occupational therapy services.
• Assess and treat a diverse caseload.
• Equipment prescription and home modifications
• Work within a multi-disciplinary clinical team.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation

To be successful in the role you will have:

• A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
• Current general registration with AHPRA (essential)
• Full Australian working rights (essential)
• A minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist
• A valid Australian driver's licence
• National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• A valid Working with Children Check
