As a General Cleaner at Urban Climb Adelaide your primary responsibility will be to create a welcoming space for all by upholding the cleanliness of the venue. On a typical day you will spend your time vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms and general tidying.

Your duties would include, but would not be limited to:

Cleaning the bathrooms, showers, toilets and other facilities

Vacuum the climbing matting

Sweep and/or vacuum and/or mop all floors and carpets, including stairs

Ensure that cleaning substances do not risk the health and safety of anyone in the facility

Ensure the correct cleaning substances are used to avoid damage to surfaces

Emptying bins

Restocking towel dispensers and toilet paper

Wiping chalk from all surfaces

Wiping down desks and office equipment

Picking up rubbish and general tidying

Wiping down gym equipment and mopping gym floors

Liaise with State Facilities Manager where required

Communicate stock levels to State Facilities Manager

Abide by the current Occupational Health and Safety Act

Ensure general hygiene of facilities

Ensure general safety of facility patrons

Experience/skills:

General cleaning and a knowledge of cleaning chemicals

Able to work on your own for extended periods of time

A good eye for detail

Good communication is essential both verbal and written

Must be committed to cultural and child safety

Other information:

Two current referees (must have known you for at least 12 months; not be related to you; and be able to vouch for your reputation and character)

Must have a current work permit in Australia and be available to start by Monday July 21st.

Likely hours are 06:00-14:00 Monday - Friday.
