Our client provides a full suite of Business Services including SMSF, Bookkeeping, Advisory, and Virtual CFO services to a broad Queensland client base. With a strong footprint across the state, this firm prides itself on a supportive culture, innovative approach, and personalised client service.

You will lead a small but highly capable team (2 onshore and 2 offshore staff), managing a diverse portfolio of straightforward clients. This role offers remote working flexibility, including a 4 ½ day work week (half day Fridays), and only occasional visits to the regional office.

About the Role

• Lead and review work performed by your team, ensuring high-quality tax compliance, business advisory, SMSF, bookkeeping, and virtual CFO services
• Be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for your clients, building long-lasting relationships
• Use technology including XERO and BGL360 to streamline processes and enhance client outcomes
• Collaborate across onshore and offshore teams to maintain seamless service delivery
• Play a key leadership role, influencing firm strategy and client growth as you prepare for further career progression

About You

• Proven experience managing tax and business service portfolios with demonstrated team leadership skills
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with XERO and BGL360 is highly desirable
• Exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for client service
• Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
• Commitment to occasional office visits to maintain team cohesion and collaboration
