Pocket Rocket Sports is more than just a kids’ sports program — we’re a confidence and self-belief program, helping kids reach their true potential through sports and fun!

Through our unique blend of fun, energetic, and skill-building programs, we help kids reach their potential in a supportive, high-energy environment. Founded by Coach Neil, Pocket Rockets is proudly a small, local business that’s been operating for over a decade and impacting thousands of young lives in the Bayside and Redlands.

As we grow, so does our ecosystem of programs — from our core Multi-Sport and one-of-a-kind Learn to Swim program, to specialised offerings like Boost, 1-on-1 Coaching, Wheels, Golf, and Triathlon — all built on our 7 Keys to Confidence framework.

1. Full-Time All-Rounder (Sports + Swim + Growth)

This is not just another job — it’s a key role in the future of Pocket Rockets. As our business grows, we’re looking for someone ready to grow with us.

You’ll coach across multiple programs (swim, multi-sport, and specialty offerings like Boost, 1-on-1, Golf, and Wheels), develop your skills in business operations, and work closely with Coach Neil — gaining insight from over 20 years of industry experience.

This role is perfect for someone looking to establish a long-term career with impact and play an essential part in helping Pocket Rockets expand its ecosystem of programs and continue to deliver high-quality, personal programming to kids in our community.

Are confident in both water- and land-based coaching

2. Swimming Coach – Casual (Mon–Thurs)

Above Award Wage | Ongoing Training Provided

Join our one-of-a-kind Learn to Swim program that’s focused on confidence, not just technique. Our sessions are small, supportive, and guided by our 7 Keys to Confidence.

You’ll be great in this role if you:

Are confident in the water (Swim Australia or AUSTSWIM certs ideal)

Are available Monday to Thursday

Are passionate about helping kids grow their water confidence

Are reliable, warm, and full of energy

We offer training and an above-award pay rate to the right candidates. Just bring the right attitude!

3. Sports Coach – Casual

Flexible Hours | Outdoor, High-Energy Environment

Coach kids aged 2–8 in our signature Multi-Sport program, rotating through 9 sports across the year. You’ll keep kids moving, learning, and having a blast in a fun, structured setting.

You’re a fit if you:

Love sport, teamwork, and being outdoors

Are confident leading groups and engaging children

Are available for at least one to two weekday mornings and/or Saturday mornings

Want to be part of something meaningful and fun

Perfect for PTs, fitness lovers, uni students, or anyone great with kids and movement.
