Your Role

You will be joining our passionate and supportive Finance team as a proactive and detailed oriented Accounts Receivable Officer on a full-time basis, with opportunity to be involved in other facets of hotel financials and purchasing. Reporting to the Director of Finance, some of your key roles and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to;

Participate in end to end accounts receivable duties such as generating invoices, processing payments, reconciling city ledger accounts and maintain accurate financial records related to money owed to the business.

Maintain proper record of all amounts due to the hotel from guests, tenants, travel agents, companies, payment gateways and intercompany, ensuring payments are collected on time

Contact and follow up with all customers of unpaid accounts via phone or e-mail by the due date for payment, to ensure collection of accounts in a timely manner and to build customer rapport

General administrative duties as required including filing, scanning, and database maintenance

About You

Have a genuine passion for finance, people and processes

Have relevant accounting knowledge, or experience, in AR is preferred but not essential

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Positive can-do attitude is a must

Strong time management, able to meet deadlines and prioritise tasks
