We are seeking a passionate and experienced HSIE teacher to join our High School team from the beginning of Term 4, 2025. The ability to teach History or Geography is highly desirable. This is a full-time permanent position.
The Role
The successful applicant will:
Be an enthusiastic and innovative educator with a strong knowledge of the NSW curriculum in HSIE subjects.
Demonstrate excellence in classroom teaching and student engagement across Years 7–12.
Differentiate curriculum and utilise effective teaching strategies to meet a range of student learning needs.
Collaborate effectively within a supportive team environment.
Contribute to the ongoing development of the HSIE department and broader school community.
About You
You will possess:
A recognised tertiary qualification in Secondary Education.
NESA accreditation and a current NSW Working With Children Check.
Demonstrated experience in teaching HSIE subjects, particularly History and/or Geography.
A commitment to professional growth and reflective practice.
Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
A willingness to support the Jewish and religious ethos of the College.
