About the Role
We’re currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Casual Handyman to support our maintenance operations in Adelaide (SA). This flexible role is ideal for someone looking for short-term, casual work over the coming months, helping us keep our student accommodation sites safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Please note: This is a casual position available through to October 2025, with no further work guaranteed beyond that period.

What You’ll Be Doing

Carrying out general repairs and maintenance across apartments, common areas, and building exteriors

Assisting with preventative and reactive maintenance tasks for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and air conditioning systems

Responding to maintenance requests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner

Liaising with contractors and tradespeople as required

Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities

Occasionally assisting with after-hours or weekend work during peak periods

What We’re Looking For

At least 1 year of experience in a similar maintenance role

A strong work ethic – reliable, honest, and punctual

Good communication skills and a professional, friendly manner

General knowledge of building systems and safety legislation

Ability to work independently and adapt to changing tasks

Australian work rights
