As the largest independent Bakery in Western Australia, we are a WA owned and operated family baking business supplying a range of bread & garlic butter products to a large number of customers 7 days a week.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work as part of the team to ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the site and ensure standards are met with regards to stringent quality and food safety standards.

Responsibilities include:

• To ensure that a high level of cleanliness is maintained on a daily basis.
• Cleaning all surfaces, fixtures and fittings.
• Cleaning floors, walls on a large scale.
• Cleaning lunchrooms, toilets and hand wash basins.
• Maintain paper towels, hand sanitizers and soaps around the bakery,
• Cleaning equipment after use.
• Following the cleaning schedule and make continuous improvement for the business.
• Cleaning and maintaining waste bins.
• Prepare and operate routine equipment/resources/materials as set out in instructions, and ensure cleanliness of equipment, check for quality and safety, and report any faults to the relevant officer.
• Safe handling of chemicals.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• The person must be fit and healthy, have good attention to detail.
• Reliable, trustworthy and ability to react to changes.
• Work collaboratively within the team
• Strong knowledge of workplace and food safety (HACCP) desired but not essential as full training will be provided.
• You must be available for afternoons and early evening work with alternative weekends available
