We are looking for a luxury travel consultant to join our Australian Sales team in this exciting full-time role. Our main office is based in South Perth, so a hybrid or remote role is available, depending on your location within Australia.
This role requires you to provide a seamless and professional booking experience through high-end journey design and excellent customer service. If you enjoy the premium market and active nature-based travel, this role may be for you.
OUR CUSTOMERS AND PRODUCT
Our customers are modern luxury travellers, typically aged in their 40s to 70s, who value unique experiences over old-world opulence. They enjoy experiences that allow for time in nature away from everyday life, and that tie-in with their special interests, such as hiking and food and wine. We help our (often) time-poor clients create special journeys combining luxury accommodation with hiking or other private guided activities in the World's best wilderness areas. Our growing range of global destinations includes Australia and New Zealand, Japan, Patagonia, Norway, the Polar Regions - with more destinations in Europe and Asia soon to launch. Knowledge of our destinations and key experiences will assist you to convert custom enquiries and add value to your client’s journeys.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE
To be successful, you need to enjoy learning and problem-solving to get an itinerary 'just right', and must be able to communicate clearly and professionally. Accuracy and efficiency is also important. We need a team player who can work independently but is also keen to learn from destination specialists within our team, which we hope you will also become in time.
This is a versatile and fast-paced role suited to a driven, solutions-focused individual with a passion for creating exceptional trips for their clients. You will need attention to detail and the ability to retain information and use different systems. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and grow with our expanding business. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU
Full-time position in Australia, with hybrid and remote work options possible for the right candidate
Competitive base salary + uncapped quarterly sales bonus based on team result

ESSSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in a travel sales role
Destination or product expertise relevant to Walk into Luxury's journeys
Travel qualifications or recognised industry experience
General understanding of CRMs and travel booking systems, with exposure to Sabre, Travefy or Tourplan highly regarded
Strong organisational and communication skills, with excellent eye for detail
Flexibility to adapt to change and implement new systems as the business grows and evolves
Reliable self-starter, able to work autonomously from home as well as in a team office environment
Solution oriented and able to work well under pressure with a collaborative and positive approach
Ability to find and retain product information, listen to customers and craft the right itinerary to match the client
Ability to build rapport with customers and partners
Passion for luxury and/or active travel, and a genuine desire to build a career with us
